Christmas Tree Light-Up at Hydrostone Park

(Thursday, December 8/05)-- Mayor Peter Kelly and District 11 Councillor Patrick Murphy will be on hand this evening for the official light-up of the first community Christmas tree in the Hydrostone Park, in Halifax’s north end.

The 35-foot spruce tree was donated by Larry Swinamer, of Larex Properties, developers of the Hydrostone Market, and Troy Grant, who is developing the Hydrostone Suites, at the corner of Novalea Drive and Young Street.
