Forbes Chevrolet to make Cheque Presentation to
Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency

(February 8, 2006) - Scott Langin, General Manager, Forbes Chevrolet, will present a cheque in the amount of $3,200 to Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency. The money will be used to purchase Risk Watch manuals for area schools.

Risk Watch is a falls and injury prevention curriculum designed to help children ages four to fourteen, and their families make better choices about personal safety. The Risk Watch curriculum is taught in a school setting by qualified teachers. Risk Watch is an initiative of the Halifax Regional Municipality to attain a “Safe Community” status.
