Sewer Main Break Restricts Left-Turns at Windmill Road and Akerley Boulevard

(Monday, March 13/06)-- Motorists are advised that a major break in the force main (sewer line) at the intersection of Windmill Road and Akerley Boulevard in Dartmouth
will temporarily limit left turns into Burnside Park at that location.

Crews are on site now and repairs are expected to take at least until 6 p.m. this evening.

As a result, left hand turns into Burnside from the southbound turning lane (coming from Bedford, going towards Dartmouth) at Windmill Road at Akerley are not permitted until further notice.

HRM apologizes for any inconvenience.
