Temporary Street Closures to Accommodate Juno Awards Show

(Thursday, March 30/06)-- Motorists are advised that a portion of downtown Halifax business core will be closed to traffic this coming Sunday to accommodate the Juno Awards show being held at the World Trade and Convention Centre.

The streets closed to traffic on Sunday, April 2, from 4 p.m. until midnight include:

Brunswick Street-- between Duke Street and Sackville Street

Market Street-- between Carmichael Street and Sackville Street

Grafton Street-- between Carmichael Street and Sackville Street

Argyle Street-- between Carmichael Street and Sackville Street

Carmichael Street-- between Brunswick Street and Argyle Street

Prince Street-- between Brunswick Street and Barrington Street

Although closed to vehicular traffic, these streets will be open to pedestrian traffic during that period.
