2006 HRM Capital District Urban Design Awards Underway!

(Wednesday, April 26, 2006) - Halifax Regional Municipality’s 2006 Capital District Urban Design Awards are now underway! The purpose of the Awards is to acknowledge and promote quality design initiatives created by property and business owners, architects, landscape architects, artists, students and designers which help to facilitate improvements in the Municipality’s urban core.

Submissions are now on display in the lobby of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia - no admission is charged for this event. The display will continue until the evening of the Awards ceremony, which is Thursday, April 27 at 5:30 p.m. also at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. All are welcome. Please visit AGNS before the ceremony and cast your vote for this year’s People’s Choice Award!
