Regional Council To Begin Budget Deliberations

(Monday, June 12/06)-- Halifax Regional Council begins its deliberations on the proposed 2006/2007 Operating and Capital budgets this week.

Eastlink television will be broadcasting all of the budget sessions live on Channel 10.

The following is a list of the meetings scheduled for this week, as well as the discussion order of the various business units.

BUDGET DELIBERATIONS

Wednesday, June 14th - 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Thursday, June 15th - 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Friday, June 16th - 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Monday, June 19th - 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (if required)
