Summer Concerts Return to the Public Gardens

(Tuesday, July 4/06)-- HRM has received calls from a number of residents and visitors regrading the summer concert series in the Public Gardens.

Once again, Halifax Regional Municipality is partnering with the Atlantic Federation of Musicians and the Music Performance Fund to present the popular Public Gardens concert series.

The following is the list of concert dates and featured performers.

July 9 - Port City Concert Band (concert style)

July 16 - Special Blend (country/country rock)

July 23 - Graham Bowser Orchestra (country/ 50's, 60's)

July 30 - Port City Concert Band

August 6 - Silver Wings (country)

August 13 - Graham Bowser Orchestra

August 20 - Port City Concert Band Special Blend (country / country rock)

August 27 - Special Blend (country/country rock)

September 3 - Port City Concert Band

September 10 - Graham Bowser Orchestra

September 17 - Port City Concert Band
