Road Work May Cause Traffic Delays of Kearney Lake Rd

(Monday, July 17/06)-- Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays along portions of the Kearney Lake Road for the next six weeks due to major road improvements

Project work includes asphalt resurfacing, from the Lebanese Centre to Belle Street; shoreline stabilization(widening) and new guard rail installation. The final asphalt surface will incorporate a 3.5 metre vehicle lane and a 1.5 metre bike lane. Shoulders will also be surfaced with crusher dust.

Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution while in the construction zone, and if possible, to seek an alternate travel work until the project is completed in early September.
