(Thursday, July 20/06) - The HRM-supervised portion of Long Pond Beach has been re-opened to the public for swimming.

The beach was closed last week due to seasonal water quality problems.

Water quality at HRM’s supervised beaches is tested regularly by the Nova Scotia Department of the Environment.
