Halifax Road Construction

(Monday, August 28, 2006) - Attention motorists, beginning on or after Wednesday, August 30th continued Harbour Solutions Project construction will necessitate a street closure at the intersection of Barrington and Inglis Streets.

The expected duration of construction is three months.

The intersection will be closed to through traffic with Local Traffic Only access to residents and businesses on either side of the closure. The sidewalk on the south side of Inglis Street will be closed. The sidewalk on the north side of Inglis Street will remain open and connected to the sidewalk on the west side of Barrington Street.


Please note, all shops and services in the work area will remain open.
The hours of construction will be Monday to Friday from 7 A.M. to 6 P.M., with weekend work as required..


Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruptions.We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary Harbour Solutions Project work may cause.
