Dartmouth Road Construction

(Friday, October 13, 2006) - Attention motorists, on-going Harbour Solutions Project construction has closed the northbound lanes of Alderney Drive at King Street. Two lane, 2 way traffic will be maintained at all times.


The expected duration of construction for this phase of the work is 5 weeks.
There may be a one day loss of water service to relocate an existing watermain. Residents and businesses affected by the possible loss of water service will be given further notice prior to the 1 day interruption taking place. No further loss of municipal services is anticipated for the remainder of the construction.


The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7 A.M. to 6 P.M., with weekends as required.


Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.
