Downtown Dartmouth Road Construction

(Thursday, October 19, 2006) - Attention motorists, on or about Thursday, October 19th on-going Harbour Solutions Project construction will close the southbound lanes of Alderney Dr. from the intersection of Ochterloney St & Alderney Dr. to the intersection Prince St & Alderney Dr.

The southbound lane will be closed on a block by block basis as the work proceeds southward toward Prince St. Traffic flow will be diverted to the northbound lanes. Two lane, two way traffic will be maintained.
The expected duration of construction is eight weeks.

Sidewalks will remain open. Please note, all shops and services adjacent to the work zone, will remain open during the construction period.

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm, reducing to 7:00am to 5:00pm after the Daylight Savings time change, with weekends as required.

Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.
