Halifax Road Construction

(Friday, October 20, 2006) - Attention motorists, on-going Harbour Solutions Project construction has the intersection of Barrington and Inglis Streets closed to through traffic.

The expected duration of construction is 5 weeks.

Local traffic only access to residents and businesses on either side of the closure will be maintained. The sidewalk on the south side of Inglis Street is closed. The sidewalk on the north side of Inglis Street remains open and connected to the sidewalk on the west side of Barrington Street.
During this construction period, safety upgrades to the intersection will also be undertaken.


Please note, all shops and services in the work area remain open.
The hours of construction will be Monday to Friday from 7 A.M. to 6 P.M., with weekend work as required..


Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruptions.We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary Harbour Solutions Project work may cause.
