New Learning Centre To Open at George Dixon Centre

(Thursday, October 26/06) - Mayor Peter Kelly will officially open the new ICAN Learning Centre at the George Dixon Community Recreation Centre on Friday.

ICAN, or the International Charity Association Network, recently donated eight new computers, computer desks, chairs and software to the local community centre. The computers will be used by the community and participants of HRM recreation programs.

ICAN functions as a supply chain management of surplus inventories of food, computers, printers, personal hygiene and household products.
