Traffic Delays-- Bedford Highway, from Glenmount Drive to Millview Avenue

(Friday, November 17/06)-- Motorists are advised there will be stop/start traffic delays on the Bedford Highway, from Glenmount Drive to Millview Avenue, beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, November 20th

The stop/start delays will affect the morning drive-time traffic. This early start will continue throughout the week.

The stop/start delays are necessary due to construction work associated with the extension of water and sanitary services in that section of the Bedford Highway.

Construction on the site will be halted at approximately 4 p.m. each day, so there should be no major impact on traffic during the afternoon drive-time.

Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when travelling in the construction zone, and if possible, to seek an alternate travel route during this period to avoid traffic delays.
