Dartmouth Road Construction
(Friday, November 24, 2006) - Attention motorists, on-going Harbour Solutions Project construction has closed the northbound lanes of Alderney Drive at King Street. Two lane, 2 way traffic will be maintained at all times. The duration of construction for this next phase of the work is 3 weeks.
Also, the southbound lanes of Alderney Dr. from the intersection of Ochterloney St. & Alderney Dr. to the intersection of Prince St & Alderney Dr are closed. The southbound lane will be closed on a block by block basis as the work proceeds southward toward Prince St. Traffic flow will be diverted to the northbound lanes. Two lane, two way traffic will be maintained.
The expected duration of construction is 3 weeks.
Sidewalks will remain open. Please note, all shops and services adjacent to the work zone, will remain open during the construction period.
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm, with weekends as required.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.
