Whale Carcass to be Towed Out to Sea

(Tuesday, December 5/06)--The 23-foot whale that washed ashore on the coastline near Queensland will not be towed out to sea until later this week.

The rotting carcass has been secured on the shoreline, but rough seas are forecast for tomorrow so the contractor hired by HRM to dispose of the whale will not be putting out until the 4 a.m. high tide on Thursday.
