Fall River Residents invited to first Community Visioning Public Meeting

(Monday, March 19, 2007) - Fall River residents are invited to attend the first community visioning meeting hosted by the Fall River Community Liaison Group and Halifax Regional Municipality this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Lockview Senior High School cafeteria.

Come and see that your community grows the way you want! Guest speakers will be Marjorie Willison and Kate Thompson of Action for Neighborhood Change.

Fall River, Musquodoboit Harbour, and the Bedford Waterfront area (including Mill Cove) were the first three communities, designated as Centres in the Regional Plan, chosen to take part in HRM’s Community Visioning Project in 2007. Community Visioning provides an informal opportunity for communities to think creatively about how they could function, how they might change, and what they might look like over a 15-25 year time frame.
