Road Improvements to Shore Drive

(Monday, April 2/07)-- Construction began today on road improvements to a section of Shore Drive in Bedford. As a result, motorists are advised to expect some traffic delays.

New paving, new sidewalk, storm sewer and water main replacement will be carried out over the next two months on Shore Drive, from Hatchery Lane to Wardour Street.

Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when travelling through the construction zone, and if possible, to choose another travel route until the construction is completed.
