Motorists Urged to Avoid Victoria Road and Thistle Street
Road Work
(Thursday, July 19/07)-- Motorists are advised to choose another travel route, if possible, to avoid long traffic delays at the intersection of Victoria Road and Thistle Street in Dartmouth.
Traffic signals at the intersection are being upgraded and temporary four-way stop signs have been erected to control traffic flow. The upgrades include new poles, mast arms, signal lights and associated work.
Construction began on July 9 and is scheduled to be completed on August 3.
There is no construction activity during the peak hours of 7 AM to 9 AM and 4 PM to 6 PM
Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when travelling in the construction zone and are encouraged to find an alternate travel route, if possible.
HRM apologizes for any inconvenience.
