Demonstration Bus on Display for potential Rural Transit Express

(Tuesday, July 24, 2007) Within the next few weeks, Halifax Regional Municipality will release its plan for the introduction of express transit service to centres along Highways 102, 103 and 107. In advance of that release, we have arranged to bring a demo bus to Halifax, similar to the type of vehicle we intend to purchase for this service.

As this service will be tailored to residents within the coverage area of your newspaper, we would like to invite you to attend a demonstration of this vehicle. The demo bus will be in front of Halifax City Hall between 1:30 and 2:30 PM and at the airport bus terminal (Arrivals End) from 3:15 to 3:45 PM on Thursday, July 26, 2007.

If you do plan on attending the demonstration, we’d appreciate having you respond to this fax, so that we can advise you of any last-minute changes to our schedule.
