Kearney Lake Road Remains Closed For Paving

(August 10/07; 4:00 PM) Halifax Regional Water Commission are advising that Kearney Lake Road, between Dunbrack St and Parkland Dr, will remain closed for paving and restoration through Friday evening. Repairs to the water main are complete and the main is back in service.

Re-opening of Kearney Lake Road to traffic is anticipated to be around 8pm this evening.

Some discolouration in the water may be associated with putting the pipe back into service and this should be of a short duration. The discolouration does not pose a health risk and we continue to monitor and test for quality assurance.

We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience and we appreciate the continued cooperation and understanding from the public.
