Street Closure Extended a Further Two Weeks

 

(Thursday, August 16/07)-- Motorists are advised the road closure for Ellenvale Avenue, between Walter Street and Waltdale Drive, has been extended for another two weeks.

The street has been closed to traffic since July 16 to allow replacement of the existing concrete box culvert. That work is now expected to be completed by August 24.

In addition, there will be culvert replacements occurring on Wanda Land and Belle Vista Drive in the same area during the next few weeks.

During the temporary Ellenvale Avenue closure, traffic is being diverted via Walter Street, Patterson Street, Clifford Drive and Waltdale Drive.

Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when travelling in the construction zone and, if possible, to chose an alternate travel route.
