Labour Day Collection Notice

(Wednesday, August 29, 2007) B HRM would like to advise residents there will be no regular municipal collection services provided on Labour Day, Monday, September 3, 2007. Collection of garbage, organics or recyclables normally scheduled on Labour Day, Monday, September 3rd will occur the preceding Saturday, September 1st.

The Otter Lake Waste Processing and Disposal Facility, the two Composting Facilities and the HRM Recycling Plant at 50 Chain Lake Drive will be closed on Labour Day, Monday, September 3rd but will be open on Saturday, September 1st with normal operating hours.

The Halifax Regional Municipality’s residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot will be closed Saturday, September 1st but will be open Saturday, September 8th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
