HRM By Design - Forum #4 (Downtown Halifax)

 

(Tuesday, September 4, 2007) - Halifax Regional Municipality and members of the Urban Design Task Force wish to invite citizens to a public consultation taking place on the evening of Monday, September 10th from 7-9 PM at Pier 21.

The topic of discussion will be defining a vision for downtown Halifax’s development future. Those in attendance will be asked to provide their impressions of a series of different development scenarios and the visions they illustrate for the future of the downtown.

HRM by Design is a project mandated by the Regional Plan, and tasked with bringing clarity and predictability to the development approval process, and articulating an urban design strategy that inspires high quality development, vibrant public spaces and enriched urban living in HRM’s Regional Centre.
