Traffic Delays Expected in Burnside Park

(Monday, September 10/07)-- Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays in portions of Burnside Park during the next six weeks due to construction related to intersection improvements.

The work, scheduled to begin on Thursday (September 13) and to be completed by October 25, also includes lane widening and traffic signal upgrades. There will be restricted hours of work between 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., Monday to Friday.

Intersections affected are Ronald Smith Avenue/ Ilsley Avenue; and Burnside Drive/ Ronald Smith Avenue/Commodore Drive.

Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when traveling in the construction zone and, if possible, to use another travel route during this period.
