Traffic Median Being Installed at Lacewood Drive and Lincoln Cross

(Monday, October 1/07)-- Construction is underway on traffic safety improvements at the intersection of Lacewood Drive and Lincoln Cross in the Clayton Park area.

A median is being constructed on Lincoln Cross that will permit only right hand turns into, and out of, that street where it intersects with Lacewood Drive. The recommendation for the median was as a result of collision analyses study by Traffic Services for a section of Lacewood Drive that included this intersection.

Construction is expected to be completed within a week, and in the meantime, motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when traveling in the construction zone and, if possible, to seek another travel route during this period.
