Natural Gas Pipeline Installations Along Cornwallis St. and Upper Water St.

(Friday, October 26/07)-- Motorists are advised that Heritage Gas will begin installing a natural gas pipeline on Cornwallis Street, between North Park Street and Gottingen Street,
tomorrow.

In addition, construction of a natural gas pipeline on Upper Water Street, between Barrington Street and the Harbourfront Marriott Hotel, will begin on Tuesday, October 30.

On Cornwallis Street-- Construction will begin Saturday at North Park Street and proceed east. The work will be undertaken between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, from Monday to Saturday. Two-way traffic will be maintained during AM and PM peak hours, with one-lane stop and go at other times. The work is expected to be completed in one week.

On Upper Water Street--Construction will start at Barrington Street and proceed south. There will be no on-street construction during AM and PM peak hours, with the exception of the one-way portion of the street where one lane will remain open at all times. The work should be completed in one week.
