Meeting To Discuss Wind Energy Cancelled

(Monday, December 3/07)-- Due to the winter storm conditions forecast for later today, a public information meeting planned for this evening to discuss wind energy has been cancelled.

The purpose of the meeting was to seek public input into the siting of wind turbines within the urban service boundary. It was scheduled for 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm this evening at the Akerley Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College, 21 Woodlawn Road, Dartmouth.

The meeting will be rescheduled in January.
