Halifax Treatment Plant to be Officially Opened

(Friday, February 8, 2008)-- Federal, Provincial and Municipal leaders will be attendence Monday for a tour and official opening ceremony for the Halifax wastewater treatment facility (WWTF).

When: Monday, February 11, 2008

Time: 8:30AM - 9:30AM

Where: The tour of the Halifax wastewater treatment facility(WWTF), 2180 Upper Water St., will commence at 8:30AM sharp. Following the tour, a reception and media briefing will be held at HMCS Scotian, 2111 Upper Water St.

Please note: All those entering the Halifax WWTF site must supply their own hard hat, and safety goggles. Those without the required safety gear will not be permitted into the WWTF site.
