EVACUATION FOR RESIDENTS IN THE TANTALLON AREA

(Friday, June 13, 2008) - Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), N.S....RCMP Halifax District are informing residents of an additional evacuation due to another spreading fire.

There is a mandatory evacuation in effect for residents living in the following areas of the Tantallon community: from Bailey Drive, including Glen Haven Estates, to the left side of Old Halifax Road.

RCMP Halifax District and Halifax Regional Fire are asking residents living in these areas to please leave their homes immediately.
