Construction For Reversing Lane on Chebucto Road

(Friday, June 27, 2008) - HRM wishes to advise motorists that they can expect traffic delays on Chebucto Road, from the Armdale Roundabout to Westmount Street, beginning on or about Wednesday, July 2, 2008, due to the construction of the reversing lane on Chebucto Road. The duration of the construction will be approximately ten (10) weeks.

During the construction period, one lane in each direction will be open between 7am and 9am and between 4pm and 6pm daily. Hours of work are between 7 am and sunset.

HRM advises motorists to use an alternative route to avoid Chebucto Road between the Roundabout and Connaught Avenue during this construction period.

Motorists are asked to use caution while driving through the work area. Experienced traffic control personnel will be present to direct traffic.

HRM apologizes for any inconvenience that may result from this necessary construction.
