Construction on Cunard Street

(Wednesday, July 30, 2008) - HRM wishes to advise motorists that construction will begin on Cunard Street on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, and is expected to be completed by October 10, 2008. During this construction period, there will be occasional lane closures.

The construction work generally consists of installation of temporary water service, milling two inches of the asphalt and installing two inches of asphalt on Cunard Street from Windsor Street to Agricola Street, replacing the existing concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk on Cunard from Hunter Street to Windsor Street, June Street to Moran Street and from Moran Street to Agricola Street, and replacing the existing watermain on Cunard Street from Robie to Agricola.

HRM apologizes for any inconvenience this necessary construction work may cause.
