Temporary Closure of Chebucto Road from Armdale Roundabout to Mumford Road

(Friday, August 1, 2008) - HRM wishes to advise motorists that, weather permitting, Chebucto Road will be closed to through traffic between the Armdale Roundabout and Mumford Road on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday August 5th, 6th and 7th, between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. This temporary closure is necessary in order to complete the final relocation of overhead utilities and installation of curb, gutter and sidewalk.

HRM is advising motorists to use Quinpool Road and Connaught Avenue or Mumford Road and Joseph Howe Drive as alternate routes.

Local traffic exiting to Chebucto Road from side streets, between Philip Street and the Roundabout, will be directed westbound toward the Armdale Roundabout.

HRM apologizes for any inconvenience this necessary temporary street closure may cause.
