Traffic Delays on Beaver Bank Road Beginning September 2nd

(Thursday, August 28, 2008) - HRM wishes to advise motorists that there will be traffic delays on Beaver Bank Road, beginning Tuesday, September 2, 2008, due to road construction. The construction involves new concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk from Kinsac Road to Rosley Road, on the east side, and asphalt repaving from Rosley Road to the Beaver Bank River. Construction is expected to be completed by October 22, 2008. HRM's contractor for this project is Dexter Construction.

There will be stop and go traffic for the duration of the construction in both the inbound and outbound lanes, however, two way traffic will be maintained during peak hours.

Please exercise extreme caution when traveling through the construction area. It is strongly advised that motorists use alternate routes if possible.
HRM apologizes for any inconvenience this necessary construction work may cause.
