HRMbyDesign Open House & Presentation

(Halifax, NS, September 24, 2008) – HRMbyDesign and the Urban Design Task Force are hosting a public open house and presentation on Draft 2 of the Downtown Halifax Urban Design Plan. This plan will guide growth and development in the downtown Halifax plan area over the next 25 years.

The open house will be held at:

Location:   Cunard Centre
                  961 Marginal Road, Halifax

Time:         5- 6 p.m: Meet & Greet
                  6- 6:30 pm: Presentation of Draft 2 of the Plan
                  6:30- 9 pm: Open House

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to look at project displays and speak one-on-one with members of the Urban Design Task Force and HRM staff and to submit written comments on the Plan.

The plan documents are available online at www.hrmbydesign.ca or print and CD copies can be obtained at the following HRM Customer Service Centres: Scotia Square, Halifax, or 2nd floor Alderney Gate, Dartmouth.
