Remembrance Day Collection Notice

(Wednesday, November 5/08) B HRM would like to advise residents there will be no regular municipal solid waste collection services provided on Remembrance Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Collection of garbage, organics or recyclables normally scheduled on Remembrance Day, Tuesday, November 11th will occur the preceding Saturday, November 8th.

The Otter Lake Waste Processing and Disposal Facility, the two Composting Facilities and the HRM Recycling Plant will be closed on Remembrance Day, Tuesday, November 11th but will be open on Saturday, November 8th with normal operating hours.

The Halifax Regional Municipality's residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot will be closed Saturday, November 8th but will be open Saturday, November 15th and 22nd from
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
