HRM Cultural Spaces Study

(Wednesday, January 7, 2009) - Halifax Regional Municipality is encouraging members of the arts and cultural community to participate in a Cultural Spaces Study. The results from the study will be used by Community Relations and Cultural Affairs staff to better understand the assets and needs of the arts and cultural community, and will help shape future cultural planning and programming.

The study consists of three surveys. Individuals are asked to complete each survey that applies to them:

This survey is to be completed by members of the arts and cultural community to assess their space needs.

2. Cultural Space Needs Survey - Organizations
This survey is to be completed by the primary contacts of arts and cultural organizations to assess their space needs.

3. Cultural Space Inventory
This survey is to be completed by the primary contacts of arts and cultural spaces. The results of this survey will help HRM develop a comprehensive inventory of existing arts and cultural spaces in HRM.

The surveys can be completed online at www.halifax.ca/culturalspaces by January 31, 2009.
