Collection of Garbage, Organics and Recyclables Rescheduled for Saturday, January 24th

(Friday, January 23/09) - Residents whose garbage, organics and recyclables collection was cancelled on Monday, January 19th due to poor street and road conditions will receive collection services tomorrow, Saturday, January 24th. Residents are reminded to have materials curbside by 7 a.m. to ensure service as collection times may vary.

Specifically, the following communities and neighbourhoods were affected on Monday and will receive collection services tomorrow, Saturday, January 24th: South End Halifax, Woodlawn, Russell Lake area, Hammonds Plains, Upper Hammonds Plains, Upper Tantallon, Pockwock & Stillwater Lake, Hubbards, Queensland, Head of St. Margarets Bay, Hubley, Boutliers Point, Ingramport, Wellington, Grand Lake, Oldham, Oakfield, Enfield, Dutch Settlement, Forrest Hills area, Conrod Settlement, Gaetz Brook, Lower, East, and Head of Chezzetcook areas.
