Water Main Break - Massachusetts Avenue, Halifax

(Tuesday, January 27, 2009) - Due to a water main break on Massachusetts Avenue (formerly Robie St.), the two centre traffic lanes between Stairs and Columbus Street, are closed. Crews are on site and have shut the water off to repair the water main.

Construction will continue through the drive home rush-hour and well into the evening.

To avoid delays and detours, motorists are urged to seek alternate routes.
