Street Reconstruction - Waverley Road

(Wednesday, April 8, 2009) On Monday, April 13th, Halifax Water will begin the reconstruction of the section of Waverley Road, from the Irving Station to Mic Mac Drive. This work will include new concrete curb on both sides, new concrete sidewalk on the west side and replacement of the gravel and asphalt pavement in the street. The work is expected to be completed by the end of May, 2009.

While this work is being done, motorists may experience delays in both outbound and inbound lanes between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please exercise caution when travelling through the construction zone and, if possible, use alternate routes.
