Collection of Organics and Refuse in Affected Fire Areas

(Friday, May 1, 2009) - The collection of refuse in sections of Spryfield and in Purcell Cove, and organic green carts in Ferguson Cove and Herring Cove scheduled for Friday, May 1st that was prevented by the forest fire, will be completed on Friday, May 8th. Both residential refuse and organic green cart collection, along with recyclables, will be provided on Friday, May 8th on those streets located within the recent forest fire evacuation area.
