Penhorn Lake Shoreline to get Spring Cleaning

(Friday, May 1, 2009 ) - This Saturday, neighbours from the Penhorn/Woodlawn area will join together to give the shoreline of Penhorn Lake a spring cleaning during a community event hosted by the Penhorn/Woodlawn Community Liaison Group.

There will be prizes and refreshments, and activities are planned for all ages, including the Halifax Regional Municipality's popular Mobile Skate park, a fire truck visit, and face painting for kids.

Gloves and garbage bags will be provided and St. John Ambulance will be on site.
