PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Water Main Replacement - Alderney Drive, Dartmouth

(Friday, 22 May 2009) On Saturday, May 23, 2009, construction will begin on Alderney Drive related to water main replacement. This work will require street closures and detours in the area over the next few weeks. The first two street closures for this project are listed below.

On Saturday, May 23, 2009, there will be a street closure on Queen Street and Ochterloney Street from Edward to Alderney in Dartmouth. Residents are requested to use alternate routes.

On Monday, May 25, 2009, beginning at 9 AM, there will be construction on Alderney Drive between Ochterloney and North in Dartmouth. The two outbound lanes will be closed and one lane in each direction will be maintained on the harbour side of Alderney. This will continue for approximately two weeks.

Motorists are requested to find alternate routes and to expect delays.
