PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Dingle Park Pumping Station Environmental Upgrade Project

(Friday, May 22, 2009)— On or about Monday, May 25th construction activity will get underway on the Dingle Park pumping station environmental upgrade project.

The construction boundaries of this project are generally at the Dingle Tower pumping station near the intersection of Parkhill Road and Milton Drive.

The project is scheduled for completion in January 2010.

The hours of work are Monday – Friday, 7AM-6PM, with weekends as required.

Direct access between the boat launch parking lot and Milton Avenue will be cut off for brief periods of time during construction. Public notification will be given prior to ramp access being impacted.

Access to the playground will be maintained.

At times, increased vehicle/equipment traffic on Dingle Rd. will be necessary to allow for delivery of materials and equipment. On-site crews will work with local residents to minimize any disruptions.

Halifax Water apologizes for any inconvenience this necessary environmental infrastructure improvement project may cause.
