HRM Beach Season Opens on Monday, June 29th

(Wednesday, June 24/2009) - HRM would like to advise residents that the 2009 beach season will officially open on Monday, June 29th.

Most HRM beaches are supervised from 11a.m. - 5 p.m., daily. However, Government Wharf, Kinap Beach and Mallay Falls Beach, all located on the Eastern Shore, have weekday supervision only.

There will be no supervised swimming at Black Rock Beach and Dingle Beach this summer.
