Information for District 6 special election, Saturday, September 19

(Friday, September 18, 2009) - The special election for District 6 - East Dartmouth - The Lakes wraps up this Saturday, September 19. Polls will close at 7 p.m.

Results from the poll location at the East Dartmouth Community Centre, as well as, electronic poll results will be posted as they come in on the HRM website (www.halifax.ca ). Simply click on the Elections icon on the home page then navigate to the results page.

Unofficial results are expected to come in quite early, at an estimated time of 7:30 p.m. Official results will be posted Tuesday.

Returning Officer, Linda Grant, will be available at the East Dartmouth Community Centre, 50 Caledonia Road, Dartmouth after votes are counted or by cell phone at 476-2324.
