Downtown Halifax Water Main Break Repairs

(Tuesday, January 12, 2010) – Halifax Water crews expect to have the water main break at the intersection of Prince and Argyle Streets repaired at approximately 6:30 p.m. this evening.

Crews will remain on site into the evening to reinstate the impacted street area on Prince Street from Barrington Street to Grafton Street. In the meantime motorists are asked to use alternate routes.

Normal traffic flow will be in place for morning peak traffic flows.

The sidewalk on the east side of Argyle Street and north side of Prince Street remains open. Pedestrians should use caution walking adjacent to the work zone.
