Open House - Proposed North Common site improvements

(Wednesday, January, 13, 2010) - HRM is hosting an open house to present proposed improvements to the North Common area, also known as the Halifax Common, and gather public insight on the proposals.

The open house takes place at City Hall on Wednesday evening, Jan. 20, during which members of the public can view displays of the proposed plan between 6:30 and 7:30, after which there will be a presentation by HRM staff and a question and answer period.

HRM plans to undertake the site improvements over several years, with some improvements proposed for spring and summer 2010.

Note: In the event of a storm, the open house will be re-scheduled to the following day, Thursday, Jan. 21, at the same time and location.
