Fairview Overpass Update

(Monday, January 18, 2010) - As a result of the Province of Nova Scotia's Construction Project on the Fairview Overpass, residents are advised, beginning today, Monday, January 18th, and for approximately 2 weeks, for the purposes of alleviating interruptions to daytime CNR train, the contractor will be working between the hours of 10:30 pm - 8:30 am, to complete pile driving and excavation for the east bridge piers.

Also motorist are advised, beginning Monday January 18th, 2010 and for approximately 6 days , for the purposes of reducing interruptions to daytime vehicle traffic, the contractor will be working between the hours of 6:00 pm to 7:00 am to complete pile driving and excavation for the east bridge piers. During this period it will be necessary to reduce traffic flow on the Fairview Overpass to one lane in each direction from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am.
